Operational Territorial Health Information System

Digital Ambulance Integration System for Emergency Response. A cutting-edge system for managing rescue interventions through digitalization, enabling continuous operational improvements to reduce response times and enhance service quality.

The SISTO system

The SISTO system is made up of three integrated platforms that allow the users involved to manage the different phases of a rescue intervention in a smart and timely way

Web Portal

SISTO provides healthcare system users with a web portal, which allows them to manage the rescue phases. Operators can thus check the availability of vehicles, ongoing interventions, reports and many other data useful for providing the best care service.

Mobile Application

Thanks to the mobile application, the staff present inside the emergency vehicles can easily manage all the phases of the rescue on a tablet, from the request for on-site intervention to the arrival at the hospital and communicate easily with the operations center and the hospital.

SignersManager Application

The application allows you to insert different user profiles into the system. Depending on the type of profile, specific permissions will be activated which during the rescue phases will allow users to access the documentation and sections of their competence.

How it works

When a person requires medical intervention, the emergency number is called. The operator who answers the emergency call uploads the first information received via telephone into the emergency collection system. The operator simultaneously checks which vehicle is available for intervention and sends a notification to the tablet supplied with the vehicle. The operators on board the emergency vehicle receive the destination address of the intervention and information on the patient’s health status directly on the tablet. SISTO uses the GPS system to identify the best route (to the address indicated by the patient and, subsequently, to the healthcare facility) and guides the emergency vehicle. Once the system reaches the person in difficulty, it transmits the pre-diagnostic information to the healthcare facility to ensure that the patient receives timely and adequate treatment once he arrives. When the patient reaches the hospital SISTO signals that the emergency vehicle is available again.
